Driving deals from origination to contract signing, working with internal and external stakeholders to understand client needs, creating urgency throughout the process and closing deals to meet quarterly revenue targets
Developing solutions- and trust-based relationships with potential clients early in the sales cycle to enable future deal success
Understanding, leveraging and scaling various methods to effectively generate a healthy sales pipeline
Developing materials (e.g. sales presentations, messaging, demos) to support effective sales processes and advance deals
Creating standard sales processes that lead to repeatable success as defined by pipeline and close rate metrics
Establishing sales tracking, measurement and reporting best practices to provide insights on individual deal progress and overall sales function performance
Working collaboratively with Customer Success and Product teams to integrate product knowledge into the sales process and proactively share client feedback and insights
Driving the recruitment and development of sales team members, ensuring they are set up to succeed against role expectations and targets
5+ years of hands-on experience leading sales processes of technology solutions to enterprise clients in the insurance space
Previous consulting experience, particularly in a firm’s dedicated insurance practice, with experience working closely with insurance companies to understand and solve their unique and complex business needs, ideally through the lens of technology solutions
3-5 years of management experience including leading efforts to standardize and scale operations and providing coaching and direction to team members
Deep knowledge of the US insurance industry, understanding of common pain points in this industry and a strong network within US insurance carriers.
Advanced problem solving capabilities demonstrated by driving full cycle client engagements including initial project scoping, ongoing project management, client education and proposal presentation and final implementation and change management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across emails, calls, presentations and in-person interactions with the ability to position ProNavigator and our differentiation to capture the attention of prospects, understand and reflect their needs and challenges, communicate technical concepts in a digestible format and effectively manage objections
Proven capability to develop champions effectively, getting multi-threaded within accounts and achieving technical validation
A strong fluency in technology with previous experience understanding and leveraging knowledge about technical concepts, ideally with experience in the software or SaaS industry
